ELONGATE joins the TeamSeas fundraiser initiative led by the YouTuber and philanthropist Mr. Beast in collaboration with the YouTuber, engineer, and inventor Mark Rober. This fundraiser will see content creators from YouTube raising money to clean plastic from the world’s oceans. Elongate has launched a donation pool and pledged to commit 100% of incoming donations from the community.
In late 2019, Mr. Beast had launched the TeamTrees initiative that quickly spread across the internet, with the goal to generate over $20 million to plant 20 million trees. The fundraiser exceeded the goal by $3 million and saw significant contributions from influential people like Elon Musk, who topped the leaderboard with a $1 million donation. With the success of the TeamTrees, the TeamSeas fundraiser is likely to garner a lot of attention and donations.
Elongate promoted the fundraiser by releasing a YouTube video, an exclusive NFT, and a Twitter hashtag campaign.

Exclusive Elongate NFTs are on sale on the OpenSea platform, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the fundraiser. Five thousand of these NFTs are available at $200 each, intending to raise $1 million.
