ELONGATE celebrated and participated in Small Charities Week by announcing a community vote across their Social Media platforms. Elongate asked for input on which charity Elongate should support and donate and to. After many votes, the community chose to fund the Vrikshit Foundation.
The Vrikshit Foundation is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization based out of New Dehli, India. Their mission is to provide a cleaner and healthier environment for everyone through conducting cleanliness drives, environmental protection, and awareness programs. They are working relentlessly to increase the cleanliness and beautification of society. They have more than 280 locations and have cleaned 7 million kilograms of trash to date.
The Elongate team contributed $5,000 that will support the Vrikshit Foundation’s programs and efforts across India. The two entities share common goals and align under the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
