After a severe tornado destroyed small communities in Czechia, the ELONGATE community stepped forward to provide relief. Marek Markvart, an Elongate community member, sprung to action and led this initiative to help those in need.
When the Elongate Social Impact team learned about those suffering in the aftermath of the tornado, they immediately wanted to help. Marek, an active member of the Elongate Telegram community channel, posted videos of himself distributing water and providing relief to those affected.
The Social Impact team reached out to him and asked if he would like Elongate to provide help. Marek took the initiative, mobilized a group of volunteers, and provided the groundwork while Elongate provided the funding. They delivered tools necessary to help rebuild homes as well as materials. The team then assisted those who were affected in the rebuilding process. With the support of the Social Impact team and Marek’s team, the affected communities began the first step of healing and rebuilding.
