ELONGATE has partnered with the NGO The Social Beings in support of neglected stray animals. The partnership, spearheaded by The Social Beings with funding provided by Elongate, will bring care and relief to animals throughout New Delhi.
Roughly one hundred animals were fed, clothed, or provided drinking water in various locations around New Delhi, India. These actions will bring some joy and comfort to animals that are often neglected and treated very poorly. Unfortunately, the city has a large population of stray animals cast aside and struggling to survive. A group of young volunteers is aiming to change the dynamic.
The Social Beings is a non-governmental organization leading efforts to build and deploy feeding and drinking stations across the city. In addition, they are pursuing public awareness efforts through educational initiatives. The impact of their actions has spread throughout their community, with a local camp offering to supply the animals with food regularly.
