The ELONGATE team held a very special dual charity party today. Through the power of crypto and the Elongate community, they donated $250,000 to The Ocean Cleanup and Action Against Hunger. The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization with a global mission to clean the plastic waste from the world’s oceans and rivers. Their primary goal is to clean up the legacy plastic in the oceans and to stop plastic from flowing into oceans from rivers.
Plastic in the ocean impacts over 700 species, 100 of which are threatened by extinction. Over 3 billion people worldwide depend on fish as a primary food source. Plastic pollution does hurt not only oceanic species but also the humans that rely on them for food.

Action Against Hunger
Action Against Hunger (AAH) is the largest international non-governmental, non-profit organization with a primary focus on world hunger. They provide emergency nutrition support, water, sanitation and hygiene, pandemic control efforts, disaster and emergency response, P.P.E. distribution, local health systems, and vaccine rollout.
