ELONGATE Holds “Feeding Consciousness” Youth Event in Brasilia, Plants 45 Trees

ELONGATE partnered with the Bom Samaritano Institute and the Administration of Taguatinga Town to host a social event for the local community. This social event, titled Feeding Consciousness, engaged 40 children from the Institute in a day of fun activities, food, and tree planting.

The Bom Samaritano Institute is a non-profit organization in Brazil that aims to support local youth through community engagement and activities. Unfortunately, due to several factors such as poverty and other social issues, many children in Brazil struggle to stay away from crime and trouble. The Institute aims to provide the children with opportunities to get involved in their communities and to prepare them for a bright future.

During the event, local children planted over 45 trees at the park in an area now named “Espaço Elongate” which translates to “Elongate Space.” It was an excellent opportunity for the children to give back to their community while also learning about environmental stewardship.
