Big Green is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating healthy places where kids can learn and grow. Through outdoor gardens and learning environments, Big Green forms connections between education and health. The organization has brought outdoor garden learning environments that have increased children’s test results while teaching them healthy living. The $400,000 donated by Elongate will support 26,000 kids across 86 schools in the United States.

Kimbal also discussed The Million Gardens Movement. An organization that provides information and resources for people to grow healthy food from home sustainably. They offer gardens to low-income families that struggle with food insecurity. It only costs $10 to provide the resources for a family in need to grow their own food right from their own homes and backyard.
