ELONGATE partnered with the prominent Artist and YouTuber ZHC for a charitable project to support patients, their families, and the healthcare workers at the AdventHealth Hospital in Orlando. Elongate donated over $240,000 while the ZHC team performed the groundwork and produced a video about the initiative.
ZHC and his team took action and brightened up several areas of the children’s ward in the Hospital, painting beautiful murals along the walls. Hospitals are places where people often experience uncertainty and anxiety. Custom murals provide a more positive environment and uplifting experience for patients, families, and staff.
With the contributions from Elongate, the patients and their families received gifts, rent support, and financial relief for medical bills. In addition, many children spend prolonged periods in the Hospital, so Elongate provided iPads and Kindle Tablets for entertainment and to help pass the time. The devices also offer easier access for important Parent-Doctor meetings.
Patients who suffer from severe illnesses or diseases leave families financially burdened through costly medical bills. The support provided by both Elongate and ZHC will help improve the lives of many children and their families.
The initiative also saw funds allocated to improve the environment of the healthcare workers by providing them with an upgraded employee lounge. Healthcare workers are under a lot of stress due to the Pandemic.
