Today, ELONGATE hosted a Social Impact Celebration with the Staff of the Human Relief Foundation (HRF). Powered by the Elongate community, they were able to pledge $300,000 to support the continued efforts of HRF. This donation will go a long way and affect many lives.
During the stream, Elongate donated $150,000, the first of two installments to provide immediate relief to those displaced by conflict. These funds will go towards the necessities to improve the quality of life of refugees. HRF will distribute food, clothing, and hygienic supplies to many families.

HRF was founded in 1991 mainly as a response to the original Iraq crisis. They work in 22 countries, including Lebanon, Myanmar, Syria, Iraq and many more. The team at HRF focuses on areas that are affected by conflict, disaster, and social upheaval. They do more than just send and provide the aid; they commit to supporting people in remote places and will travel long distances and are involved in the hands-on distribution of aid. HRF’s future goal is to help create sustainable living environments for the people they support.
