ELONGATE Funds Food Distribution in Iraq with Human Relief Foundation

The Human Relief Foundation (HRF) showcased the impact of the $150,000 donated by ELONGATE as part of a $300,000 pledge. This was the first of the two donations to help those in dire need of relief in Mosul, Iraq. The funds were used to assemble food packages and distribute them to families impoverished by conflict and instability in the region.

HRF was founded in 1991 mainly as a response to the original Iraq crisis. They operate in 22 countries, including Lebanon, Myanmar, Syria, Iraq and many more. They focus on areas that are affected by conflict, disaster, and social upheaval.

The organization is committed to supporting people in remote places and will travel long distances to provide aid and relief. They develop long-term relationships with the communities and communicate with them to find out their needs. Their future goal is to be able to help create sustainable living environments for the people they support.
