BabyCake Donates $2k to ELONGATE’s #CryptoForCures Fund

In efforts to garner further support from the crypto community, Elongate has called on all cryptocurrency projects to contribute to their #CryptoForCures fund. BabyCake answered the call, donating $2000 to the fund. This generous donation from the BabyCake Team puts Elongate one step closer towards their goal to help EB Research cure EB by 2030.

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a family of life-threatening rare genetic diseases that affect the body’s largest organ: the skin. Hundreds of thousands of children worldwide suffer from EB, and there is currently no known cure. EB Research Partnership is on track to finding a cure by 2030.

Elongate is proud to support EB Research in the mission of curing EB, and has donated $280K so far to the cause. As founder of the #CryptoForCures Fund, Elongate has put up $50,000 in matching capital to source donations from the crypto world, in celebration of the celebrity event Venture Into Cures. With $357,000 donated so far to EB Research, Elongate aims to reach a total #CryptoForCures funding goal of $1 Million by the end of the year through community support.

Elongate is a title sponsor of the Venture Into Cures event alongside Amazon AWS. This star-studded event, hosted by Tom Holland, will help raise awareness and funds for critical research to treat and cure EB. It will air on November 18th at 8:00 pm EST.
